People Loving Nashville
We’re a proud partner of People Loving Nashville, a dedicated local nonprofit on a mission to share love and dignity with our city’s most vulnerable neighbors. Founded in 2008, their heartfelt mission “relief, community, connection, and restoration” began with a simple Thanksgiving meal and has blossomed into a lifeline for hundreds each week. Every Monday night, their Street Outreach team brings meals, clothing, and compassion to those living downtown and in encampments. Their Homefulness and Restoration programs go further—helping individuals move into housing, access counseling, job training, and long-term care.
Room in The Inn
At The Russell Hotel, we’re honored to partner with Room In The Inn, a cornerstone of Nashville’s response to homelessness. Based on a single downtown campus, they offer a comprehensive suite of services. From winter shelter and nourishing meals, to support for recovery, education, workforce development, and housing. During the chilly months, over 100 congregations collaborate to provide warm overnight shelter and community to individuals in need. The Guest House offers a safe haven and recuperative care for those recently released from hospitals or held for public intoxication, including medical respite, recovery classes, and mental-health support. Importantly, RITI helps guests transition into stability—offering transitional programs with job training (in their café, meal service, etc.), on-site permanent apartments, housing readiness classes, support coordinators, and ongoing case management. Around 2–3 people each week move into housing, and last year 115 found permanent homes through their network.
Nashville Rescue Mission
We’re proud to support Nashville Rescue Mission, a faith-based nonprofit that’s been serving Nashville’s homeless and hungry since 1954. Every day, they provide hot meals, safe shelter, and essential services to hundreds of men, women, and children in need. Beyond meeting immediate needs, their Life Recovery Program offers long-term support through addiction recovery, counseling, job training, and spiritual development. With the recent addition of a dedicated Women’s and Children’s Campus, they continue to expand their reach and impact.
Shower Up
We’re proud to support ShowerUp, a Nashville-based nonprofit bringing mobile hygiene services directly to people experiencing homelessness. Through its mobile shower units, they offer free showers, laundry services, personal care items, and clean towels. Restoring dignity, relationships, and hope through compassionate, face-to-face care. Operating weekly in downtown and other neighborhoods, volunteers help set up “shower suites” and engage guests with kindness and respect, tackling basic hygiene needs while building community connections.
